and the pain it brought was spreading
like the blood into the lands
into his flesh, his bones,
his heart.
when would it end,
the age of chaos..
after selling the world to satan
or praying to lucifer for wisdom?
and as he tried
to gaze into the distant skies.
through the tears, through the memories
reaching for air, looking for reality
he caught himself calling her name...
though unsure if it was spoken,
or was it just in his mind,
but it was there, the words.
"i'm sorry...
this, will be the last time i miss you...
and we'll be together forever then."
